Justin Moore’s Oldest Daughter, Ella, Refuses to Have Another Sister

Justin Moore and his wife Kate are expecting their fourth child this summer and their oldest daughter, Ella—who just turned 7 on Feb. 15— is making it clear to her parents that she does not, under any circumstance, want another sister. The oldest of three girls has enough sisters and will have nothing to do with the new baby, if turns out to be another little girl.

“Ella said, ‘If it’s a girl, I won’t never talk to it, I won’t claim it, I won’t never hold it, I don’t even want to see it,'” Justin explains.  “And so Kate was going, ‘Well, it very well may be a girl. You’re a girl. What if we’d have thought that about you?’  And she said, ‘I don’t care, I don’t want another one. We’ve got enough.’ So, needless to say, she wants a little brother (laughs).”

It’s hard to tell the feelings of his other two daughters, Kennedy (5) and Klein (2), as they have not expressed their feelings as strongly as their older sister.

Ken’s not as strong with her words, which is surprising because typically she’s the strongest,” Justin adds.  “She’s insane, but she wants a little brother as well.  And then Klein just keeps going to school, pre-school, and telling her teacher she’s got a baby in her belly.  So, I don’t think she completely comprehends what’s happening.”

Here’s hoping that Justin and Kate have a baby boy—for Ella’s sake.

Before I go on I wanted to wish a happy bday to my oldest baby, E. Missin my girls tonight.
