Broncos’ 2021 Schedule Unveiled

BOISE, Idaho – The Boise State football team’s 2021 schedule, the debut campaign under Andy Avalos, was released by the Mountain West Friday, and season tickets are on sale now.

Ticket packages are available at BroncoSports.com/tickets, and a 2021 season ticket map is attached to this email.

Dates for the 2021 schedule are subject to change and kickoff times and broadcast information will be announced at a later date.

Boise State’s nonconference slate includes road games at UCF (Sept. 4) to open the season, and at BYU (Oct. 9), and home games against UTEP (Sept. 11) and Oklahoma State (Sept. 18) in back-to-back weeks.

The Broncos’ conference schedule includes home games against Nevada (Oct. 2), Air Force (Oct. 16), Wyoming (Nov. 13) and New Mexico (Nov. 20). The conference road tilts will be played at Utah State (Sept. 25), Colorado State (Oct. 30), Fresno State (Nov. 6) and San Diego State (Nov. 27).

This is the third-straight year the Broncos will close their regular season with a conference road game.

The 2021 MW Championship Game will be played on Dec. 4, featuring the Mountain and West Division Champions at a to-be-determined site.

Today’s release represents the first phase in the 2021 football schedule process. Mountain West national television partners CBS Sports and FOX Sports will now initiate a selection procedure which will include the shifting of particular games to non-Saturday dates. That will be followed by the identification of network outlets and kick times.

Boise State enters the 2021 season with a streak of 23-consecutive winning seasons (1998-2020), tied with Michigan for the 14th-longest such streak in Football Bowl Subdivision history. The streak is the longest by a school in the Group of Five all-time.

The Broncos have made four-consecutive appearances in the MW Championship Game, tied with Ohio State for the third-longest active streak in the country. Only Clemson (six) and Oklahoma (five) have a longer current streak of conference championship game appearances.

Additionally, Boise State’s four conference championships since joining the MW for the 2011 season are tied for the most in league history, despite being a member for just 10 of the conference’s 22 seasons.
